General Conditions of Sale Transport

 

ARTICLE 1: COMMITMENTS OF THE COMPANY

Any order made to the company Lfd Private Transferentails the acceptance of all the conditions of sale (below), which form an integral part of the transport contract signed between the company Lfd Private Transfer and its principal. Any modification proposed by one of the parties may be accepted after written agreement by both parties.

The Lfd Private Transfer company undertakes to respect the pick-up times and places that were agreed upon during the reservation.

 

 

ARTICLE 2: PRICES

Our prices  are all inclusive, fixed, expressed in Euro and known in advance, they cannot be modified due to road traffic.

The prices indicated include the vehicle, the driver's service, insurance for the persons transported, fuel, as well as tolls and parking lots. Entry to the various sites, restaurants and all ancillary services remain the responsibility of the customer.

The price communicated corresponds to that of the range of the transfer and the service desired at the time of the quote request, regardless of the number of people.

Example: For a van, a maximum of 6 people, the quantity of luggage transported is limited to one suitcase and one hand luggage per person and must be the subject of prior information from the customer to the company Lfd Private Transfer beyond of this quantity.

The carrier is in no way responsible for damage caused by the density of road traffic. This article is also valid for wedding packages and other events…

The price offered takes into account the information given at the time of the quote request, a revaluation of the price may be revised during a service by agreement between the two parties.

 

For special requests, business transfers, VIPs, private flights, tourist circuits, events or other destinations, please let us know in your message, the price will be offered based on the information you have sent to us.

Our rates include VAT at 10% for passenger transport services and at 20% for provision services without rolling.

 

 

ARTICLE 3: RANGE OF SERVICES

Ldf Private Transfer makes every effort to provide you with the best range of vehicles available.

Mainly in Mercedes Class V the company Lfd Private Transfer will accompany you to your destination.

 

 

ARTICLE 4: RESERVATIONS

For any reservation, we will send you a contract corresponding to the elements provided. This contract must be returned to us, by post or electronically, dated, signed and must contain the words "Good for agreement for the execution of the transport or the service". The firm reservation of the vehicle will only be taken into account upon receipt of the said estimate. The balance of the estimate must be paid in full before taking charge of the customers.

 

 

ARTICLE 5: PAYMENT

We accept the following means of payment: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bank Transfer.

 

 

ARTICLE 6: MODIFICATION DURING SERVICE

The vehicle is rented for a well-defined service. It will be imperative to notify the Lfd Private Transfer Company as soon as possible of any change in order to better prepare the transport and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Any modification of the route by the customer during the service may generate additional costs to be paid directly to the driver or to be reimbursed directly to the company Lfd Private Transfer at the end of the service.

In case of modification of the route or its duration due to the client, the driver will note them on his mission order and have them signed by the client.

In the event of modification of the duration due to the sole initiative of the client, the costs incurred will be borne by the latter.

Last minute changes could be called into question if they disturb the daily organization of the Lfd Private Transfer Company or its driver, in this case no modification can be made without the agreement of the management of the Lfd Private company. Transfer.

 

 

ARTICLE 7: DRIVER OBLIGATIONS

The driver has the obligation to have a respectable outfit imposed by the company Lfd Private Transfer, to offer a clean vehicle and must respect the rules of safety, respect, confidentiality and punctuality.

In the event of a delay or a problem occurring during his approach to the place of support or during the service, the driver must notify his client and the company Lfd Private Transfer as soon as possible.

 

 

ARTICLE 8: CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

All vehicles are non-smoking, the driver can take breaks at the customer's request.

We require the respect of the material, any degradation of the interior or exterior equipment of the vehicles will be invoiced.

Wearing a seat belt is compulsory. It is forbidden to stick your head out or open the doors without the driver's permission. The driver reserves the right to block windows and doors.

Baggage or any other object belonging to the customer remains under his responsibility. The Lfd Private Transfer Company cannot be held responsible in the event of theft of valuables and luggage left in the vehicle.

For reasons of safety and respect for the vehicle, only the driver is able to open and close the doors.

The customer agrees: to maintain a correct attitude, not to consume narcotics, not to get drunk.

The customer agrees to respect the meeting times agreed between the two parties. An increase in the price offered may be applied in the event of non-compliance with these.

Animals on board vehicles may be authorized, if they are kept on a leash or transport crate in order to comply with road safety rules, in agreement with the company Lfd Private Transfer and in compliance with the highway code. An accepted animal will take the place of a person.

The Lfd Private Transfer company reserves the right and authorizes its drivers to refuse access to the vehicle in the event of non-compliance and an excess number of passengers.

 

 

ARTICLE 9: REGULATIONS / HIGHWAY CODE

The vehicle and the driver will be provided with the on-board documents necessary for the smooth running of the entire service. The principal and the passengers are required to comply with the regulations applicable to persons and their luggage in the country crossed.

The driver must respect the road regulations in force. Under no circumstances may the customer demand that the driver exceed the authorized speed limit or commit traffic violations.

The driver reserves the right to interrupt the service in progress if the behavior of the customers or their close entourage jeopardizes the safety of the driver or the rented vehicle, if they commit an offense, or if they behave insultingly towards the driver. No refund can then be demanded.

 

 

ARTICLE 10: DRIVER WAITING TIME

In case of delay of the customer and according to the availability of our schedule, the driver remains in place and waits under the following conditions:

Arrival in classic flight:

The driver waits up to one hour at no additional cost*.

Beyond the first hour, this hour becomes chargeable, ie 50€/h and any additional half hour of waiting started is due at the price of 25€/half hour.

Arrival by train:

The driver waits up to 30 minutes at no additional cost*.

Beyond 30 minutes, this first half hour becomes chargeable, i.e. €25/half hour and any additional half hour started is due.

Hotel pick-up or any address defined by the customer:

The driver waits up to 15 min at no additional cost*.

Beyond 15 minutes, the first quarter of an hour becomes chargeable, ie €15 / quarter of an hour and any additional quarter of an hour started is due.

This rate is applicable for standard transport.

Provision:

The driver can exceed the scheduled end time between the two parties by up to 30 minutes at no additional cost*.

Beyond 30 minutes, this first half hour becomes chargeable, i.e. 50% of the hourly rate on the estimate/half hour and any additional half hour started is due.

In the event that the driver cannot stay on site so as not to compromise the schedule for his day, the company Lfd Private Transfer will put everything in place to transport another vehicle as soon as possible. Under these conditions, a wait for customers may be necessary and incur additional costs for this.

The waiting conditions for an arrival by private flight or for a particular event will be described in the offer when the quote is proposed.

*The time taken into account is that of arrival initially planned by the railway or airline companies or that of the customer defined at the time of booking.

 

 

ARTICLE 11: WITHDRAWAL / CANCELLATION

Any reservation canceled within 3 days (72 hours) preceding the pick-up time as defined in the estimate accepted by the customer, will be invoiced at the rate of 50% of the amount of the estimate.

Any reservation canceled within 24 hours prior to the pick-up time as defined by the estimate accepted by the customer, will be invoiced at 100% of the amount of the estimate.

The non-presentation of the persons to be transported at the pick-up meeting (address and time) set by the principal cannot constitute a case of cancellation of the contract giving rise to the right to payment of the service provided and any damages or disbursements suffered/incurred by the company.

Lfd Private Transfer reserves the right to cancel the service up to the day of departure in the event of force majeure – the deposit being returned.

In the event that we cannot provide the vehicle provided for in the initial contract, the deposit will be fully refunded, unless the two parties agree on the provision of another vehicle.

In the event of a breakdown during the service rendering the vehicle unavailable, the amount of the service will be calculated in proportion to the time spent, without recourse or compensation for the damage caused.

We reserve the right to cancel the service in the event of force majeure if the weather conditions could jeopardize the safety of passengers.

 

 

ARTICLE 12: LIMITATION CLAUSES OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DISPUTES

The company Lfd Private Transfer can in no way be held responsible for delays in transport times due to circumstances beyond its control: road closed, work of art prohibited to traffic, deviation, flooded road, snow, traffic jams, interventions on the roadway of public forces (police, customs, firefighters, etc.). .

In the event of immobilization of the vehicle during the journey due to a mechanical failure, an accident or damage (degradation, theft), the company Lfd Private Transfer will endeavor to ensure the continuity of the route, either with one of its vehicles, or with a vehicle chartered from another company and undertakes to notify the principal.

If the company Lfd Private Transfer finds no solution for the replacement of the vehicle during the service rendering the vehicle unavailable, the amount of the service will be calculated in proportion to the time spent, without recourse or compensation for the damage caused.

In the event of a dispute, only the Commercial Court of Chambéry will be competent.

Any complaint is admissible only within 8 days after the end of the execution of the transport service concerned.

Lfd Private Transfer reserves the right to use the photographs taken during the services for promotional purposes.
